Party Connection Issues (Again)
While playing on Empire I keep getting disconnecting. I'm also playing on another stie so I know it's not on my end. It's not like last time where just one table will go on the fritz, this time it's all of them. Is anyone else having this issue?

Re: Party Connection Issues (Again)
Same here, I'm on empire, except this time, all of my tables lose connection, not just one or two. Well I think (I hope) it appears to be gone now.

Re: Party Connection Issues (Again)
Hi--I use plain old dial-up access (as we speak my connection is 26.4k/sec). I play up to 12 tables at a time and normally this works fine.
Lately, though, I've been having the party/skins problems that others have discussed on these boards. First sign of trouble: the strip at the top of the table(s) goes from "connection is very good" to "good", "poor", etc. Then we may have some "internet delays 12 seconds" and "14 sconds" Then "trying to reconnect", connection lost, etc., etc. Or, the majority of the time it just fixes itself without actually disconnecting, and we move on. My question: Can I improve my situation with party/skins by upgrading to a DSL or other enhanced ISP service; or are these problems "enjoyed" by people with upgraded service as well? Thanks for your help. |
