Lots of chips
BB in this hand is a regular (35/20), who's aggressive in a straightforward kind of way. Button is loose, and not very knowledgable.

Re: Lots of chips
I think if BB is very aggressive in a straightforward kind of way it's equally likely that he has some ridicullous draw here that he's overplaying.
Button sticking around is troubling but it points to a draw as well. WTF I can't play 30/60 ever |

Re: Lots of chips
I don't play 30/60, but isn't this obvious spewing? Heh, maybe that is a whole different level than what I am thinking on.

I don't have the balls to do this at 30/60.

Re: Lots of chips
i was thinking that maybe the turn raise will scare the button but then i remembered that he had a history of calling 2 cold
i think you comfortably crossed the line between aggro and spewing stripsqueez - chickenhawk |

Re: Lots of chips
Personally, I believe this is one of those "I tried it and I was right", but a -EV play in the end. While it is true that you are ahead of a straight and a flush draw, it's still likely that donkey button is calling down with any piece, or that BB is doing this with bottom 2pair/set since the game is aggressive.

Re: Lots of chips
IMO this is spewing, but I am not familiar with the players and table conditions, recent hands, etc.
It's possible that the flop 4bet makes it more likely, not less, that villain is on a draw...as many of these "straightforward aggressive" guys will predictably slowplay big hands to the turn. Button calling along worries me because it'll often be with a weakish pair, or even a scared Q. Surf |

Re: Lots of chips
I think the less meaningful play in the flop 3-bet. I don't see it accomplish anything positive for us.
