I would not mind hearing some comments about the KQ hand because I am lost when it comes to playing KQ when blinds are getting big with about 6-8 people left. Could anyone offer some words of wisdom?

Both of those situations give me trouble too.
I hate KQ in that situation. You probably are not ahead against most players there. I'd fold it, not very happily though. The AJ hand sucks too. 400 in the pot and 150 to call with what might be the best hand, or a hand you might be dominated with. Does it make any sense to call this because of the pot odds and take a shot at the pot if you get a favorable flop? I think that's what I'd do with it. |
