Re: Prahlad Friedman vs Jesus Ferguson
Hmm, you're right, I sound like an idiot. What I meant to say was: I recognize this mistake, not trusting my reads, in myself, and it's a valuable lesson to me to see that even accomplished players like prahlad can make this mistake too.

Re: Prahlad Friedman vs Jesus Ferguson
This was a while ago before the episode was aired where I, nor most of the railbirds knew what really happened in the hand, but he said he called a massive bet because he figured they were chopping, now seeing the hand I'm pretty sure he meant the river call when he made AAAKK.
As for the turn, I dunno, apparently he wasnt convinced Chris had the A (obviously not) and still wasnt convinced of what, QQ? I dont know. I kind of forget how the hand played out already. I dont think the SR v. Sammy Farha match ever got shown (I didnt catch any of the headsup thing), but SR claimed that he was running hot the whole match betting every pot, and when he made his first big bluff Sam called "Hella weak" to cripple him, might have been interesting, I'd rather have watched that one than some of the other ones that I think aired. |

Re: Prahlad Friedman vs Jesus Ferguson
I don't see how he could get away from that hand.
Jesus could have been holding various pocket pairs as well. |
