Re: Recomendation
How come you've been thinking of taking up poker for over a year now? And why didn't you learn to use the search function a year ago after you posted this?
[ QUOTE ] How much time does JakeTheBake spend memorizing every question that has ever been asked, reading new questions, hoping against hope that some poor sap commits the mortal sin of asking a question that was already addressed, so he can once again wag his finger and tell the guy to use the search function? I swear I've seen him do it a hundred times. I mean, take this question. I can see if the guy was asking for a review of the book, but how hard was would it have been to just say "Borders?" Lighten up. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Recomendation
Getting Started In Holdem, you can order it right from this web site. I hope it doesn't take a year to decide to buy the book.

Re: Recomendation
I'd start with a dictionary.
Seriously though, "Getting Started in Holdem" is clearly the way to go. |

Re: Recomendation
If it's texas hold'em that you want to play (which is probably the case), then Getting Started in Hold'em is probably a good place to start.
