Default Do you fold this? No Content

This is micro-micro limit, PokerStars .02/.04 table.

PokerStars 0.02/0.04 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

I'm looking at this hand and thinking that I'd call in late position, and the table is loose enough that it might be worth one bet in middle position. And then:

3 folds, MP1 raises, MP2 calls,

So with a raise and a call in front of me I'm thinking that it's not such a good call anymore. What do you think?

I know the answer: insta-fold. To quote the Gospel According to Saint Ed on the subject of small suited connectors: "With a few exceptions, you cannot overcome your preflop disadvantage if you must pay two or more bets to see a flop." So I fold.

2 folds, Button calls, 2 folds.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
MP1 bets, MP2 calls, Button calls.

Now I'm starting to doubt myself. Middle pair with a flush draw and a gutshot straight draw... nah, if I'd stayed in I would have to call and see the turn, but I'm almost certainly still way behind.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
MP1 bets, MP2 folds, Button folds.

Final Pot: 6.25 BB

I leave the table knowing I'm now on tilt, and as I get ready for bed I'm repeating my mantra:

"Don't be results oriented. Don't be results oriented."

not to be rude, but no-content posts belong in the designated no-content thread

[edit] that being said, I'm very happy I slightly overplayed my AKs to runner runner the royal a while back. what a story!

If you had stayed in this hand...you would be raising the flop to see the turn.

omg you folded a straight flush you idiot. At least this isnt a BIG leak according to SSH because it happens so seldom. Learn to play poker. For serious, good fold, and post this in the NC thread.

No, I'm not a Duke student, but thanks for the compliment.

I apologize for not knowing that there is a "No Content" thread. Noted.

OK, will someone please tell me where to find this fabled No Content thread? I searched on "No Content" in the subject and got a zillion hits but not a specific thread.
