Re: 10+1 Hand
Either fold or push preflop, but at this point you have to fold.

Re: 10+1 Hand
Easy push pf. You just don't have enough chips for anything else.

Either fold or push preflop, but at this point you have to fold. [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. I'm thinking that the Ace is helping someone, and that isn't you. Just putting one of them on, say an unsuited A,7 and running the pocket cards and flop through PokerStove shows you as a 76% vs 24% dog. Probably would have been called by at least one if you pushed preflop, but given the texture of the flop and the multi-way pot I think you have to bail and look to push ASAP. |

Re: 10+1 Hand
Push preflop. And I'd fold here, thinking I am definitely behind an ace that is going to call me.

Re: 10+1 Hand
HERO raises (260) to 260
HERO is all-In. Joec1982 folds. tocatchfish folds. mlambo28 calls (190) with [ 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ] ** Dealing Turn ** : [ 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ] ** Dealing River ** : [ Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ] HERO balance 790, bet 310, collected 790 This is one of the stranger plays I've made. It was pretty clearly incorrect to just call preflop with such a small stack. Push or fold. I think my rationale at the time was, if I push, someone will likely call me anyway for so few chips, so I might as well see the flop then decide. After the flop, I wasn't too happy, but my strategy was: If the other players see a tiny stack make the tight move of calling preflop, then maybe they would be more likely to fold post-flop if he goes all-in, as it would look the tight-playing short stack flopped a monster. For what its worth, the caller took a long time to call with his A-6o, so maybe my strategy almost worked. Or maybe the guy was ordering a pizza. Anyway, a very strange play that I hope I never make again, though obviously I sucked out on him this time. |
