yea to be honest, i dont like a turn 3 bet at all. what is he raising here that you beat?

if he's got two pair or a set on the flop he'd jam it.

if he turned it, he's gotta be scared of the straight, esp if he's tight and passive.

now that i've seen teh whole hand through, it looks a lot like a flopped flush that was giving you the free flop to catch up. but i dont see any other line to take.

mike - you must have some table iamge to raise this preflop. I know you advocate raising any 2 in this spot but it just doesnt work for me - still not sure why raising is better than checking and betting any flop when checked to.

It's for value, since your fold equity on the flop is so high. You may also have the best hand, and position.
