Re: A/Q, did I spew?
I like it, including the river check. MP is repping a flush or a set. The river check-through indicates he had neither, but I wouldn't have taken that chance by betting the river.

Re: A/Q, did I spew?
I would probably lead the river. I don't think calling the turn is spewing at all.

Re: A/Q, did I spew?
Grunch.
Flop: Pots big, so I want to protect my hand. I attempt to check/raise the potential late position bet (have a solid draw, and would like to clean up my A outs). Turn: With how you played it, this seems fine. I think the Q high flush is worth a call for, so I don't think this is spewing at all. River: Check/raise seems like a good idea, but often it's better to just go for the sure thing. Not sure what I would have done in real time. |

Re: A/Q, did I spew?
Looks OK pre-flop and on the turn. I could either bet/call or check/call the flop, depending on my opponents.
Bet/call the river. A C/R will often whiff vs. worse hands and may get 3-bet by better hands. Tom |
