No. It's about hand #2.

Edit: And while I'm at it, cold calling w/ 99 was pretty bad, too.

[/ QUOTE ]

not raising the turn or river wasn't great either

#2. I play pretty much by SSH. When playing at a new table we should start with hands as if the game is loose until otherwise is proved.

About cold calling w/ 99, yeah I know, I thought about re-raising to protect my hand, but I decided to call and try to get lucky, which I did.

Playing by the SSH preflop hand chart for 6max play is definitely bad.

Not great, not a big mistake either. CO could have raised a flushdraw and completed it at the turn (or maybe BB), turn was definetely a scare card.

6max? It was 10-handed.

Maybe, but there are a lot more hands that he would play the same that you beat. Raise it up.

Crap, I'm sorry dude. There have been so many 6 max hands here lately that I read "1/2" and my brain filled in "6 max."

I'm still not crazy about the open limp 8 handed, but it's not as bad as I thought it was.

It would be better if you replied in the right "reply-chain" but I guess you could reply here too

Btw, I don't think there is a big difference between 8-handed and 10-handed UTG. I still think limp is ok with A7s.

You don't lose that much in the long run (you win some of the pots you know), you lose more if you give away a tight image and lose bets because of that (players tighten up against you).

[/ QUOTE ]

if you're not posting in MP2 or later, then yes, perceptive players would think that.

I don't think posting UTG+1 will hurt your image much (if they are even paying attention), save yourself the big blind
