From experience, I'll put it at least 50% chance that you are ahead and he's drawing to overcards. Add this to the fact that you'll almost be gauranteed to get a free showdown if you raise, and this is the perfect time to raise.

You're almost guaranteed to get a free showdown when you call also. Most of the time, he's taking a stab and then folding.

Maybe I'm just projecting my own playing style on to this hand. If I'm BB and I'm bluffing here, I'm not going to make a 1/2 pot bluff and then just give up on the river... that can't even really be considered a steal attempt can it?
If I were in BB's shoes I would pot the river if any overcard fell. |

Obviously you are not the villain in this hand. If I'm playing against you, I'll call the turn and push the river. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] I have a very good feeling that this villain will check the river if you are good.

You have to bet that flop w/ 4 oppenents.
