Well today i went to the mirage where i ussally play 3/6,but i don't know i felt i was good enough to take on the 10/20.So i buy in for 400, and the people are playing ACE RAG no joke they love to see there hand through as they say lol.So i just played my A game and won 700 in a day.Now i always beat small stakes on a consistant basis and the pay is ussally 200 on a good day.But should i chance it and play 10/20 from now on or play small stakes where i know the players are ducks.Well it could of just been my table today but idk many tables where players chase hands, like 33 try to hit a set and 10 2 suited, ace rag.

Could the WSOP be making the games softer?

If the 10/20 game is good that day and you have the bankroll for it, play it. If it's not good that day, go play some smaller games. If you can't tell the difference, don't play 10/20 until you can.

most live limits are a lot softer then their online counterparts. Online .5/1 is extremely soft because that is generally the lowest limit that is offered. 2/4 or 3/6 are ususally the lowest limits offered live, so all of the worst players play there. THe 10/20 games live are pretty soft, so I say do it up, if it gets tough, drop down

10/20 live will typically be a soft game, especially nowadays. If you can handle a reasonable downswing and feel even semi-competent, definitely try it. These games are often easier than Party 3/6.

this is just a question of bankroll since the game won't be any harder on average. play the biggest games your bankroll can sustain and youre a favorite in. get to know the competition. i've recently moved up to 8/16 but if the game is stacked and the 6/12 game is live i know when to step down for the day.
