SB is LAG, 65/30/1.75, after 200 hands
UTG+1 is passive pre and post flop, VPIP=33, 70 hands. He has beat me out of at least 3 pots where he slow-played trips or a straight on the flop, then raised the turn. i fold this. UTG esasily calls pf with cards that make him a straight or a set (like 77 for example). SB with the check/3bet is even worse, since it cost him only 1/2 a small bet initially to play so his hand could be ANYTHING- straight, set, 2 pair, etc. for 2 cold i think i fold.

Easy fold. UTG+1 is protecting your pot against the dumb LAG. You're likely drawing to two outs here.

...Fold. The pot is small. These turn-check-raises with slowplayed trips and whatnot get annoying, but at least utg is predictable enough for you to lay this one down.

...and don't forget that this pot is tiny.

Fold. You said it yourself that UTG is passive and slowplays to the turn. The board is 6678 - there are many hands that beat your KK here, and you have to pay (minimum) 3 BB to showdown here.

I did indeed fold, figuring that SB could easily have a draw but with UTG+1 in it I was likely way behind.
A week ago I would have folded this in an instant, but just a few days ago I read Ed Miller's post on "Why you're not crushing micro" and the advice has been a gold mine in the last few days. |

Most of those points in that thread apply to calling single bets when you think you may be beat. The whole don't fold in large pots thing, which is a good concept. But in this case you have a tighty raising a LAG on a paired board(and you said yourself he likes to slowplay trips), and that means it's time to fold, facing multiple bets and the possibility of having to call two more back to you with the second best hand.

I don't think that post of Miller's has anything to do with a situation like this. The pot is tiny. Miller is talking about big pots for one more bet.
