QQ hand
Live 3-6 game 9 handed
SB is LAG preflop, passive post with ~$180 UTG is LAG preflop, aggro post with ~$300 I'm dealt QQ in MP and i have them covered. UTG raises to 12, I raise to 60, they both call. flop is 8 6 2, 2 clubs. SB pushes. UTG pushes. What's your move? edit: supposed to be 9 handed |

Re: QQ hand
Even though you have an overpair, you're probably not the favorite at the flop. they might be holding a club draw or also trips, which would definitely put you at a disadvantage. I don't like the $60 reraise, it already looks like you're trying to steal (or takedown) the pot preflop which you probably were. If I saw that I would call or reraise with my 8's maybe 6's depending on how long i've been playing against you. I think you overplayed your queens and a fold would definitely be in order after 2 all-ins. 1 all-in i might call depending on opponent but 2 all-ins is to me a definite fold.

Re: QQ hand
if both players are LAG as you say they are, I see no issues with that pre-flop re-raise - they could be raising with anything. Those live games have some crazy people in them. I've even seen someone raise $15 pre-flop with 6 4 offsuit in a 1/2 NL game

Re: QQ hand
what range of hands do you think they can have at this point that makes it a clear fold? take into consideration that sb is shortstacked and utg is aggro/somewhat bad.

Re: QQ hand
I pretty much instacall - SB is only pushing for a pot size bet, if UTG dude is aggro postflop he could easily be just trying to shunt you out with his tptk or similar. Especially given it's live poker, I feel the idiot-factor makes it an easy call.

Re: QQ hand
At least one of them is most likely on the flsh drw, maybe both. I am going to pay off any set here and continue to play with them any chance I get. I dont see AA/KK, why would they call the 60 preflop in a multiway pot.
My money is on AK and JJ, maybe both AK. |
