Re: Moneymaker/Raymer
They might play on the play money tables, especially Raymer. A few weeks after he won the WSOP I was watching something about poker on TV, and they were talking about how "Greg Raymer and his wife were spotted playing $2/4 hold'em at the Bellagio." I was like what the hell you just won $5 million, why are you playing 2/4? If it was me, I'd be playing atleast 10/20.

Re: Moneymaker/Raymer
Does anybody know if he (or either one of them for that matter) wins at the $10/20 limits?

Re: Moneymaker/Raymer
In the Moneymaker commercial that shows the footage of him at the WSOP, his last line is: "I use pokerstars.net to tweak my game; you should too."

Yeah, I agree but atleast 10/20 seems possible, in the sense, that maybe he's NOT all that great of a live/cash game limit hold'em player and needed somewhere to start. I'd probably be stupid and go sit in one of those huge cash games that Greenstein, Ivey, etc... play in, just to have a little fun and dump a few hundred thousand, just for the experience. |

Re: Moneymaker/Raymer
I played for a couple of hours at Moneymaker's table in a tournament on stars a few months back. Railbirds wouldn't leave the poor guy alone, it was constant verbal abuse. He shrugged it off pretty well. He seemed like a nice guy and answered a lot of questions about the WSOP, etc.
