Re: why is all the good poker books on just english?
because the non-english speaking people know how to play already. the english-speaking fish are loosing too much money and huting the economy. all the poker books are sponsored by the secret services to repair the budget deficit. I am speaking french and I would not want to buy a poker book in french become I am so use to English word ex : Fold you be "abandonner" call would be "appeler" raise would be "relancer" hell you see how hard it is! :P [/ QUOTE ] That just rocks! Next time I play live poker I'm gonna say "Je te relance" or "Ouais? Moi, je vais relancer" every time I raise. I'm sure it's +EV. How do you say "all-in" in French? (In Swedish, we just say the English "all-in". I suppose you do the same, but if not, I sure would like to know.) How do you say these things in German, anyone? Spanish? Russian? |
