Re: tens against a microlimit eagle.
yeah after talking a bit with fuji, i realize this is not the correct play. basically im looking for somebody that will fold an underpair to kings or looking to catch a bluff-raise against an agg villian, exactly as shillx has mentioned.
...which i guess doesnt happen often. i wont be doing this again anytime soon. he folded to my 3bet btw. i realized afterwards that it was indeed out of the ordinary, just wanted to see what others thought. |

Re: tens against a microlimit eagle.
Against an eagle, call a cap and check/fold the turn UI.
I hate to ask. what is UI? |

Re: tens against a microlimit eagle.
UI = unimproved
calling and folding UI isnt a good idea in this case either. if im behind to a larger pair, i think my odds (even with implied) are not really big enough to warrent even a SB to win 15. factor in the times that im drawing dead and this is a fold. lmk if this is incorrect? thanks Edit: after doing the math this is a close one. calling isnt as bad as i thought it was getting 15:1 on the flop...calling to try and hit my set will make me about as much money as i lose. |
