Default Re: WPT Day 5 Table 53, Todays Table of Death??

Considering the talent that is left I don't see how this can be considered a table of death.
I agree with the previous poster who said its one of the lightest of the tournament.

Are the wheels coming ofr Payvar?

Paul Testud Doubles Up Through Reza Payvar

This has officially become a trend here at the WPT World Championship. For the third time in just 80 minutes, Reza Payvar has doubled another player up. Paul Testud moved all in for $420,000 after a flop of K-J-7. Payvar thought for a few minutes before finally calling. Payvar showed K-10, while Testud was in command with his A-K. An A hit the turn and a 2 fell on the river, to double up Testud. Testud now has over $1,000,000, and is the second player Payvar has dubled to over $1,000,000.

seems like it, calling off $420K with just top pair, weak kicker.

he did get his $ in with the best of it vs. Beevers, though - just got unlucky on the river.

They redraw seats every time a table breaks. And it looks like they will be breaking another table quite soon.

Is it really neccesary to think for a few minutes before calling when you have flopped a set? It seems like an easy call in most cases to me. Though he is probably much better at this than I am.
