AA vs. AA - how often?
Playing a SNG and I held AA. Got my money in before the flop only to find out I was up against the other 2 aces and we split the pot. How often will you see any two opponents in a 10 handed game get dealt AA at the same time?
I think it would be the odds of any particular 4 cards being aces times the number of ways you could pair the opponents, or [(4*3*2*1)/(52*51*50*49)]*[10*9/2]=1/6016 Is this correct? Also had quads twice within 10 minutes tonight...unfortunately I folded the first one preflop. |

Re: AA vs. AA - how often?
That is the correct answer, it does not happen often.
