I can't imagine overcalling here. [/ QUOTE ] Exactly, you may have a question on your hands if there was just a bet. |

Re: River decision...a JJ hand
Fold. I can't see how you can bet this river for value with 3 people behind you. If you are going to overcall, you should probably have bet though (you have an easy fold should someone raise). This seems like a standard laydown, no?

Re: River decision...a JJ hand
At first glance, a fold would seem obvious. However, could I be ahead 1 out of 14 times here to make it a profitable call? Remember, this is .50/1 PP we're taking here.

Re: River decision...a JJ hand
Good odds, but you have to beat two people to win and do it 1/14 times for profitability. Does that happen enough?

Re: River decision...a JJ hand
If there was only one other opponent do you guys think this would be a check/call or bet/fold to a raise situation?
My feeling is that against one person you will lose most of the time but will be good often enough to go to showdown. -Joe |

I called the bet. UTG had A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and UTG+1 had 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
