call call bet blind defense?
I think I read a few posts about this sort of line. No reads. Muck preflop?

Re: call call bet blind defense?
I fold this preflop in a heartbeat in the Party 5/10 games. Having a read really would be nice, but you are in bad shape against a typical raise here. You are getting 6:4 (minus rake) on a calldown in this spot. You aren't going to be good 40% of the time you see a river, and this doesn't even count the times that you fold on the flop.

Re: call call bet blind defense?
It's not really blind defense, so I fold PF. However, I like your post-flop line.

Re: call call bet blind defense?
You're not so much defending against a stealer here as if the raise had come from hijack, CO or OTB. I think you might have to let this one go, unless you can put him on a wide range of hands that will raise UTG.
If you're feeling frisky you can pop him back here, but you're OOP against a guy who very likely has a better hand, if not a dominating one, and on whom you have no read. I rarely feel this frisky. |

Re: call call bet blind defense?
Fold PFR to most UTG raisers.
Your river bet isn't good, you are often losing, and if you are head, can get someone to fold when you want them to either bluff or bet with their Ks, Qs or whatever. |

Re: call call bet blind defense?
UTG raise isn't usually a blind steal. I would fold this in a heartbeat PF.
As for postflop, it's fine. Against an aggressive player b/c the river, against a passive one b/f it. |
