How useful is PokerTracker going to be to me if I play exclusively at PokerStars? How would I get the hand histories into the database easily by playing at PokerStars?
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am relatively new and I am wondering if PokerTracker would be a good buy for a PokerStars player. Thank you! |

You set it up to check your POP3 email automatically, and you have it auto-request 100 hands every 5 minutes. This is slightly annoying as every 5 minutes it briefly interrupts you once every 5 minutes, but it isn't that bad.
If you miss any, you can email PokerStars for a history of every hand you've ever played. It will take them some time to get it together for you (they do it at night when the server load is down). |

Very usefull, definitley worth buying. You can set up PT to auto-request, than auto import hand histories every couple minutes from PS.
Check the software or Books/Publications (used to be books/software) forum for more on PT. |

Wow, it seems that with the auto-request option, it takes all the "hard work" out of it. And, since I can request every hand I have ever played up until I get the software, it seems like I can make up for the hands that I had previously thought lost. I hope to make this investment soon, and hopefully I can start catching the leaks in my game soon after.
Thank you very much! |
