Re: please evaluate my turn and river checks
turn check is good b/c of the flop bet, and i guess the river check is right as well, given the same thing.

Re: please evaluate my turn and river checks
Problem #1. Don't call with the K-7. You're just asking for trouble, especially from early position.
Problem #2. I think you have to fold this hand when it gets 3 raises on the flop. Your check on the turn was good. Take free shot at catching a 7. You have to check the river too. My guess is that maybe SB or UTG are looking to check raise a set. A strange hand, I think you just have to check/fold after the flop and hope your Kings are good. |

Re: please evaluate my turn and river checks
Thanks, MikeyEdge (and Slickterp also) for answering my post. Yes, I was way out of position to play the K7 suited.
Thanks for reminding me (as Slickterp also did in a different post). I was lucky - I did win 11 BB. The other three (oddly) all ended up with a pair of queens, whereas I had the pair of kings. Lucky that time - the next ten or twenty times I tried that, I guess I wouldn't be so lucky! Thanks again, guys. MP1 had QsJc. SB had Qc7s. UTG had QhTh. |
