Default Blind defense hand

Muck it preflop? Opponent was an LA-P. I don't have much experience with this and I think I should have mucked it. I put villain on an ace or king trying to take the blinds, so I bet out the turn and river with bottom pair.

PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO folds, Button raises, SB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.40 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Turn: (3.20 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: 4.20 BB

I almost always defend with suited connectors against weak opponents. Is this a leak?

Ugg fold preflop. This hand is just too weak IMO. I like the postflop play in most situations.

Blind defense is not my strong suit. But with a steal attempt and thus a short-handed hand, suitedness and connectedness matter less. You want high-card strength.

Fold this preflop.

I like your play postflop though. If he didn't fold the turn I would check/fold any river card that didn't improve my hand.
