I'm not crazy about the moons, in general. But mock-ups might make that easier.

Also: any chance to do a single non-denominated chip people could use for fill-ins as a $2.50 or $1,000?

I don't think you're going to have a problem hitting 5k on this order.

I'm pretty sure that you can do the $1 I proposed for the same price as the other 4*2 chips. These are just white-white, blue-blue, white-white.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, I agree. I was only referring to the half-moon for the price increase. And if we were able to use the half-moon, I would only want to use it on one chip - either the smallest denom or the highest.

[ QUOTE ]
If you're going to do $1 and $5 different than the others, might I suggest that you leave off the white spots on the $1 (so it will have dark blue chip with light blue at 12 and 6... Dennis would fill in the 3 and 9 inserts with dark blue). I'm 99.44% sure this would work out and look ok (e.g. insert composition and chip composition are the same, right?).

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, I am sure they could probably do this as well. I will hopefully clear all these issues up tomorrow. You mean this?

Absolutely. I think this is a great idea. Color suggestions? Maybe gray? Or orange?

I hope you're right!

Also ask Dennis if thier racks will fit the TRKINGS flush. He sells the racks for 5.00 each. I think its worth it if the chips will fit flush.

The normal racks out there do not fit the kings well. They wobble a lot. Especially when you have 4 or 5 of them stacked up together.

Okay, here's where we're at for now. I tried to take all suggestions into account in one form or another while making these changes. I'm still pretty up in the air on the edge spot colors for the $500. This is still just a rough idea - I will know more about our ability to vary the edge spot styles tomorrow.

$0.25 (may be non-denom) - Gray w/ Double-Wide Red/Black
$1 - Dark Blue w/ Double-Wide Light-Blue/White
$5 - Red w/ Dual White/Orange
$25 - Green w/ Dual Light-Green/Pink
$100 - Black w/ Dual Lavender/Gray
$500 - Purple w/ Dual White/Light-Teal
$1000 (may be non-denom) - Yellow w/ 2x Double-Wide Black

Same color schemes, but better-looking mockups, as I've basically taught myself how to use Photoshop today:

I like red w/ orange+yellow over orange+white since 2 other chips use white edge spots and there's no use of yellow except in the yellow chip. Might not matter at all...

Question regarding orange/whatever on red - does that tend to wash out or does that look really good?

Ray, do these look pretty well done?
gray
blue 1
green 25
black 100
yellow

purple - edge spot tweak ?
red - possible edge spot tweak ?

Most people seem to prefer the orange/white...thoughts from anyone else? What do you mean by washout?

I would say the whole thing is still a work in progress, as many people who were interested in the group buy have not even seen the mockups yet! But it's a good start, I hope...

I like the pink and grey on the black. What about a darker purple with edge spots as below.

$5's and $25's are PERFECT!
I think the yellow chip (prob $1000 need more spotting, generally the chips with higher den have more spotting, and the lower end sometimes dont at all, as edgespotting was first designed to prevent fraud)

Try the $100 Black w purple/light Blue Edge Spotting
$500 pink and gray spotting.

See what that looks like. Im in for 500 but I just might go for 1000 if it looks real good. Whats the next tier pricing below .85?

Going to wait on the yellow until I hear back from Dennis on what exactly I can do.

He did not give me another price level, just $0.85 for 5,000+.
