affiliate earnings question?
Is money you earn though Party pokers affiliate program in anyway taxable by the IRS?
I am planning on giving a friend all his rake back, and don't want to be taxed on money that I actually have given back to him. Thanks. |

Re: affiliate earnings question?
it is income. of course it is taxable.
however, if you do the xfer via NETeller you can then just report the net. never let the full funds hit your US bank account, just your cut |

Re: affiliate earnings question?
what is the best way to give a player rakeback? probably a bad idea to do it through a party skin, right? better to do it offline? thx in advance.

Re: affiliate earnings question?
i don't know the answer to this. my response was indicating that his earnings are really only the net of what he takes home. therefore if the transfer is made before it comes on-shore, then it will likely never have to be explained in an audit what rake-back is and why his net is only a portion of the payment received.
