The tenth picture down the page is a picture of Sumo world champion Akebono and jujitsu master Royce Gracie. They will be fighting tomorrow. Who will win?

Jujitsu. And it isn't even close.

True. The Jujitsu guys have some nasty nasty holds though. If the Jujitsu guy has any advantage at the time they hit the floor, he's winning.

I'm assuming this is one of those no holds barred sort of things? I'm going against the grain and giving the edge to Akebono...huge size advantage and those sumo guys are much quicker than you realize.

Really amazing athletes given their size. |

Do Sumo wrestlers actually do anything much besides showing each other when they wrestle? If not, It's hard to see how the Sumo guy could win this regardless of his speed/agility and size advantage.

Akebono was in a K-1 (basically kickboxing match) and got KOed viciously. There also is no way he submits Gracie. Maybe he can catch him with a punch, but I doubt it.
My guess is a very boring fight where Akebono eventually gets subbed after tiring badly. |
