Turn Semi-Bluff at the Stone
5/10 at Turning Stone. Table is looser than Stone 5/10 often is (pretty standard by small stakes standards). A couple of players in the game are pretty bad/Laggy and are willing to put in pre-flop raises with hands like A4.
The player in question in seat 6 and is UTG +2. He's a regular, calling station who will call the flop turn with a lot of hands he should fold and a lot of hands he should raise. Hero is on the button with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Pre-flop: 3 limps to Hero, who calls (is this way too loose???). Blinds both play. Flop: J 7 3, one heart. (6 players). All players check. Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 check to Hero, who bets. Seat 6 calls and all else fold. River: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Seat 6 bets, Hero raises, Seat 6 three-bets, Hero calls. Final pot: 11 BB between seat 6 and Hero. Am I getting way out of hand here? |

Re: Turn Semi-Bluff at the Stone
Post flop I think your play is fine. With 6 players and a small pot I may just check the turn though, the semi-bluff may be fine, but I just can't see everyone folding here.
You have to raise the river imo, and call the three bet. Zephyr |

Re: Turn Semi-Bluff at the Stone
I'm 4 betting the river, and calling a 5-bet.
