Re: Odds of a Misclick
They're infrequent enough that it should not factor into your thinking.

Re: Odds of a Misclick
Ive only misclicked once that i can remember in about 100k hands i have in pokertracker. So id say about 100,000 to 1, but my sample size is too small. If you have a $100,000 pot and your opponent bets $1, i think you would be right in calling even if you were playing the board (for a high card)

Re: Odds of a Misclick
I try to turn my misclicks into bluffs when possible. Works most of the time.

Re: Odds of a Misclick
[ QUOTE ]
I once folded quads because a of a misclick. The dang window switched on me from another table where I was about to fold. [/ QUOTE ] Same cause for me. 3-tabling on 1024x768 laptop display. I just folded a straight two nights ago for my first misclick in 15k hands since starting a fresh hand tracking database. Funny how I managed to hit fold rather than check or raise. That 11BB pot and I were not meant to be, I guess. |

Re: Odds of a Misclick
I'm in EP with 1000 chips 4 hands into a Royal Vegas 100k freeroll I misclick and call a bet of 300 or so with K9o.
I hit middle pair on the flop and go allin he pairs an ace on the river and its all over. hadn't played on that site in a while and wasn't familiar with the buttons--meant to fold. Frustrating to be out in 4 hands when you make time to play in a big MTT. And it wasn't even with KK against AA. I'm OK with that. Sorry had to vent. |

Re: Odds of a Misclick
I've had 2 misclicks ever in like 75k hands. If you're getting 37,500:1 on a river call, I think you should probably give it a shot.

Re: Odds of a Misclick
Judging from the responses, i guess i misblick more than most... (that typo wasn't even on purpose, but it's staying in there now! ) and i don't do it very often at all. THe most recent time i can remember is when i was 4-tabling, had AKs on one table, saw that i had a good hand, and then went back to act at another table. Then, a third table pops up, and i raise, thinking it was my AK... nope, it was 57o. Waste of a BB... oh well.

Re: Odds of a Misclick
I misclicked a few times (or timed out and folded from multitabling).
NL .5/1 blinds, folded 66 to a pre-flop raise with 2 LAG's already in by accident. Flop was KK6, 1st LAG pushes, 2nd LAG calls. One has KJo, the other has K4s. I missed out on tripling up. |
