![]() (This is what happens when I hit a goal and decide to take some time off to "read" before moving up). No reading, lots of untalented photoshop based on an IRC in-joke that I won't let die. |

I suspect this book will replace the out-dated "mathethematical" TOP as the poker bible.

Throw in a chapter about why playing low cards is better than high cards, because there are more low cards in the deck, and you'll be all set!
Nice work, I'll be looking for this at a Barnes and Noble near me... |

bdk3clash can contribute a chapter about the importance of flopping quads.
I can contribute about trying to enforce tournament rules about not revealing your hand and getting your life threatened in Spanish. |

You also need to include a chapter on playing T5 since one of those is needed for every straight.

You are forgetting the deceptive value of low cards. Nobody ever puts you on 24o. Especially if you have raised under the gun.

Don't forget the important concepts laid out in the hold'em poker for fishy players post awhile back (I can't find the link). They include:
1. The importance of being unsuited. You can make two different flushes with unsuited cards, as opposed to one with suited cards. 2. Low card power. Everyone else has high cards. They'll never expect your 24o. (As previously mentioned) 3. The power of reverse domination. Laugh at all of those AK raisers when you ALWAYS catch your two pair with A5o. And that's an appropriate cover. |
