Texture of the 6-max O8 tables?
I'm just at the point of moving up to the $1-$2 tables and I noticed that the Party skins have mostly 6-max at this level. I know this isn't exactly shorthanded, but is there any adjustment in strategy I should look to employ here? Push a bit more with 2nd-nut low and medium flush hands? Play more speculative high-only type hands, etc? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Re: Texture of the 6-max O8 tables?
Yeah, 6 man tables are a little weird. I usually stick to my usual tight starting standards. But I do adjust to the 6 handed game by bringing in most hands for a raise. You'll usually get callers with your premium hands, even if you have been sitting quiet for a little while. Try and push whatever edges you have.
Post flop, I'm probably a little bit looser..but nothing insane. I still need some potential both ways if I am drawing to non nut hands though. I do ok at these, but definitely prefer a 19 handed game. |

I tend to loosen up a bit in my starting hand requirements and just loosen up in general post flop, since you don't regularly need the nuts to win. It's definitely a fun game 6 handed.
