Default Ire of the Homegamers

Fellow Poker Brethren,

what might one suggest in terms of ways of dealing with digruntled homegame poker opponents?....I play regularly in a very profitable NL homegame (not hosted by me), but unlike limit, a good player can book some very big victories on a very consistent basis.....I've found more and more of a frustrated/"snippy" attitude directed at me lately by several players.....joking around playfully, tactfully changing the subject, and faking "dumb-luck" gestures are starting to lose the ability to diffuse.....any thoughts?
