Default Ethics questioned at Bay101 - am I taking too much offense?

Upon a night's reflection, I really don't think so but am interested in how others might handle the situation.

Yesterday afternoon, I was playing 20/40 at Bay 101. During the hand in question, I was in seat 6 and was the SB. UTG and UTG+1 (seats 8 and 9) limped in, with one more limper before the button in seat 4 (seat 5 had missed her blind). I saw four chips in front of seat 4 so tossed in 2 chips to complete; the BB then checked. At this point, seat 4 said that she had raised, and there were now eight chips in front of her. To make a long story short, seats 7, 8 and 9 all said that they saw her make a string raise, which squares with the initial four chips I saw in front of her. Lots of heated discussion ensued, the floor was called over and, based on what seats 7-9 and I saw, with some additional though sketchy details from seat 1, ruled it a string raise and invalid.

No problem, right? Wrong. Seat 4 kept fuming about it with her boyfriend (seated behind her) and ultimately said that we were all lying, and doing so to save a bet. At that point, I told her that her comments were offensive and way over the line; after all, there's a big difference between bluffing and deceit as part of poker play and those same actions as part of one's character. After a moment's thought, I decided that I didn't want to play at the same table as her, racked up and left. Later that evening, after about an hour at Garden City, she and her boyfriend showed up. When they got called to my table, I immediately racked up and left again, and I plan to do the same until she apologizes for what I feel is an incredibly offensive remark.

While I didn't volunteer the reasons for my abrupt departure, a couple of people did ask why and I did tell them.

It's cutting off my nose to spite my face, as she's a pretty bad player and her boyfriend is without question the worst 20-40 player I've seen at either club; this makes her comment about lying to get save one small bet even more ridiculous - it's pretty easy to get a lot more than that from her through normal play.
