PokerStars MTT $50 PL Texas, level 2, blinds 15/30 (8 handed)
My stack is T1255 and Button has me well covered - T2895. Preflop: Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero posts the small blind of 15. UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO folds, Button calls, Hero (poster) completes, BB checks. Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, BB checks, Button bets 60, Hero raises to 180, BB folds, Button calls. Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets 450, Button raises to 1110, Hero calls 595 (All-In). River: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) Button shows 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] for a flopped straight. Final Pot: Too big in the wrong direction I got a cheap flop as I wanted in the small blind and hit the flop real good. Because the button limped I put him on AA, KK (then I would prop. win a huge pot) or some trash (like 76o...) and I thought I had him beat, at least on the flop.. Maybe he could play that way with a PP looking for a set too, actually he could have anything Could I get away from this? Slow down on the turn? I feel I played it bad now but the two pairs made me feel excited Ok, now I lost the red thread the rest is for you. Any comments are appreciated, thx! |
