a tough situation?
house game. about 4 players finished flop raises and everything. flop comes.... somebody bets and, some call and fold till the last person who was thinking on what to do.... then the dealer thought everybody decided and flipped the card before the last player could decide? We didn't know what to do? some said burn the shown turn card, let the last person decide and then play the next card as the turn. people didn't agree w/ that. so i said just muck the hand take the money back and deal over since we were all friends. the one new guy who never played before (friend of a friend and the person that bet) was pissed off he said the people that were in on the flop should hold there 2 cards and we should reshuffle and redeal out the flop. then continue the game. obviously he had a good hand i guess. we didn't know what to do? The guy that actually didn't have a chance to bet flopped a boat and was going to raise the bettor since he is somewhat of a maniac and refuses to slowplay. the turn would have gave him a 4 of a kind so i felt bad if we just burned the card that was shown earlier.
we decided to redeal the hand after much complaint from the new guy... he was bitching for 5 min. he wanted to take the other guys $$.. finally i said "bleep. shut up he had a 4 of a kind could you beat that". then he said no and good thing we just mucked the hand. he had KQs. big deal i say he had nothign and was trying to take the pot or something. what is the correct thing to do? |
