I'm having trouble analyzing the game I'm in until after I leave

Hello!

I'm having trouble analyzing the game I'm in while I'm playing in it. About an hour after I leave, however, I start to see all sorts of trends and patterns that really would have helped me while I was still there. Do you people have any tips, tricks or advice for me? Is there a drill I should be doing, or what?
