SnG's - Home Poker

This is more of a Home Poker question but thought this was the best place to post. Due to the popularity of WSOP on ESPN I've met alot of people that love to play NLHE tourneys. I've introduced them to SnG's and they love to play them. This is great for me since I'm improving my SnG game daily. Anyone have some good formats for SnG's for 5-8 people. This is a typical amount of players we have. We've been raising blinds every 2 orbits and when we get down to 2 players we play 5 hands than chop the winnings based on chip count. We played with 3 other couples the other night and my wife and I took home $120 and I played with my tennis team the other day and made $75. Just looking for some ideas for different types of formats to make the play fast and fun and make me some money.
