I have to learn how to play hands like this.
I've been starting to take notes during sessions, keeping track of things I'd like to post about here, especially things I'm afraid are becoming standard for me. Here's an example:
Basically, I'm willing to call the flop bet, but that's it. Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (10 handed) Preflop: Hero is CO with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, Hero calls, Button calls, SB completes, BB checks. Flop: (5 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls. Turn: (4 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks. River: (4 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, UTG bets, Hero folds, BB calls. Final Pot: 6 BB I don't think playing medium pocket pairs this way makes sense, and I can't imagine it's profitable. |
