Live tourney - on the bubble
I played a live tourney on saturday, with 14 participants.
When down to 4 players, with 3 prices (50%, 30%, 20%) I am shortstacked after a bad beat (opponent on the bubble hits 2-outer on river). Average stack is 17.5K, and I am hanging in with aprox. 8K. Blinds are 300-600 with a 50 ante. I am big blind and find KJo. Button who has been aggressive the last couple of hands raises to 3.000 (earlier he has showed he is able to laydown big hands preflop). I am still steaming a bit inside after the bad beat, and maybe should have folded, but instead pushes all-in. Opponent who has maybe 20K calls and shows 4-4. No help and I get the honour of being bubbleboy. Should I just fold this hand, and wait for a better opportunity to get to the middle first-in? |
