Default This forum needs some debate

Don't worry, this isn't another, "What's wrong with this forum" post. Instead, it's a "How to improve this forum and your play" post.

The best way to learn, in my opinion, is to debate. Make an argument and defend it. There is no debate here anymore. Hands gets posted, 10 poeple post their opinions, and everyone moves on. In order to get the most out of the forum, and yourself, you need to challenge people when you think they are wrong and be ready to defend your ideas when you are challenged.

In the last week I've made several posts that disagreed with the majority of opinions in a thread, yet no one has questioned me. Heck, the majority of my posts here don't even get replies, not even from the person who started the thread. I find that very frustrating.

I don't for a second believe that my arguments are so convincing that everyone simply changes their mind to agree with my opinion. So what is it? Are people afraid to disagree and be wrong? If so, you're never going to learn anything that way. I've learned the most from threads where I said something really stupid, debated it, and was convinced (not just accepted) that I was wrong.

So lets have some debate. If you think someone is wrong, it doesn't matter who, say so. Everyone will learn more in the process.
