What were the odds of this?

So I'm watching a friend play some $25 NL on party since he's not very good and wanted some advice. So he follows my advice for about 2 hours and decides my advice is no good since he's down about $50 bucks now. So now he's playing every hand when there's no raise and most hands when there's a raise. Now he's back to even. He gets 5/3o on the BB and it was raised to 3 and I tell him to fold and after thinking about it for awhile he does. Flop was 553 and he would have won a huge pot. The very next hand he gets T6s and it's raised to 3 again and he says screw it, I'm calling this time. Flop comes TT6 and he wins a huge pot. What were the odds of that?
