I would say that online, it is much more difficult to make that kind of statement. You can get some sort of read on your opponents, but it is worth about 25-50% of what a good live read is on a player. Since, my exposure to NL is going to have to be online until my next vegas trip, or canterbury NL tourneys, I am wondering about a couple of general rules or thoughts.

I was thinking about this after hearing Howard Lederer comment on the showdown at the sands, and the commentary from the WPT whenever it is Blind v Blind and someone has an ace.....

but thanks for the helpful post...i learned a lot.
