I experienced a situation today that was almost identical to this, which reminded me of this excellent post a little over 2 years ago by David. Now that our site has grown just a bit..I would like to open the topic up again.
Here is the original post. ------------------------------------------------------------ Interesting Stud Situation Posted by: David Sklansky (Dsklansky@aol.com) Posted on: Friday, 3 August 2001, at 4:09 a.m. 15-30. Typical Vegas players. Six brings it in. You are next and call with 456 suited with five showing. King raises. Six calls. Six pairs doorcard. So do you. King catches offsuit deuce. Sixes bet thirty. Call, raise, or fold? ------------------------------------------------------------ David also posted a correction to this mentioning that the original bring-in had folded and the 6 just limped. For anyone interested in reading the original responses. Here is a link to the archives. http://www.twoplustwo.com/digests/ot...ug01_main.html MY position has changed somewhat since my post back then. (probably because I have lots more experience playing at the higher limits than I did back then ) but I am curious. Perhaps David could jump in and give us some of his final thoughts.. ( which he didn't do at the time ) CJ |
