I attempted to login to my Neteller account to see if they received a pending cashout and got the following message: Due to certain circumstances your account has been closed. Please call.......
So I call the number and they connect me to security who verify my identity then we have this conversation: NT: Have you recently moved ? Me: No NT: Have you recently tried to login to your account using a different computer ? Me: I have two computers at home that I use, but other than that, no. NT: OK...We are showing that the last three times your account was accessed it was from an IP address in Canada. Me: That wasn't me if it came from Canada. NT: Have you tried to access you account recently ? Me: Yes, about 30 minutes ago. NT: OK...for some reason we are showing that IP address originating from Canada. Me: The one from the last login 30 minutes ago ? NT: Yes...I will overide that IP address check so that you can login. Me: OK thanks. NT: I show your account does not have a social security number attached to it. Would you like to add it to your account ? Me: No, I'd rather not. NT: OK, that's no problem since you already have an account with us. Me: Thanks. NT: Wait about two minutes then you can login to your account. Me: OK, thanks for your help. NT: You're welcome Although I wasn't happy about my account being locked, I can understand why they did it. The Security Rep. spoke English, was polite and resolved the problem immediately. It's good to see that they are paying attention. SF |
