Heads up on the button preflop
I understand that in 6-max, you never want to limp in any of the non-blind positions. Plus, at a full table if 4 people have folded, same thing.
However, when it's down to 2 or 3 people, isn't it OK to go back to limping pre-flop? I'm thinking about the Hold'em you see on TV in the tournaments when it gets down to 2 or 3. Heads up on the button in the small blind, you can vary your game more with fold, limp, and raise. I ask because yesterday I was playing in our little heads-up tournament on PokerStars, and I think both of my opponents either raised or folded on the button throughout the whole time. -Tom |
