should you worry about the straight flush?
6 handed part Poker 50 dollar tables.
Stack sizes are all 50. All players pretty average, kind of loose. I flopped the ace-high flush and pot the flop, I get 2 callers. The flop has a straight flush draw if my opponent has 9Q of clubs. The turn is a blank and I pot the turn and get one caller. The pot is now 15 dollars, I bet out 10 hoping to get a king high flush to pay me off, he re-raises all-in. I called expecting to see the straight flush and he didnt disappoint. Does anyone check the river and prepare to call off a pot sized bet? Or is this like a NL holdem set over set scenario where it happens so rarely that you should just expect to lose a stack when you run into it? thoughts? |
