Default ($11) Sevens stump me... Level 6

I'm taking another shot at learning SNGs, and this time, I'm trying to do it right. As such...

This was yesterday, so I don't really remember my reads too well... BB's pushed a couple of times, shown down AK once after doing it, gone uncalled the other times.

Blinds 75/150

SB (800)
BB (1650)
UTG (1285)
Hero (1065)
CO (1030)
Button (2170)

I get black 7s, UTG folds to me. With 1065 in my stack, I don't really feel comfortable limping 77 for 14% of it, but if I'm raising, conventional wisdom says I should be pushing. Ok, that's fine with me. I'm not yet as comfortable pushing cards - much less any two cards - as I should be, when I'm not feeling desperate.

Questions:
- Is 77 here too good to pass up? Do I have to push this, if the players behind me aren't idiots?
- If not, I can't possibly limp this... right? If I do limp it, do I have to intend on calling a push?
- If you're folding this, what are you pushing here, with these stacks?

The more I think about it, I can't limp a hand like 77 here, unless I plan to call a push, so that leaves me either pushing or folding. Am I totally off?

I'm confused.
