Default Terrible set play

Unless I missed something and did in fact play it like a genius. I vote donk play.

Pot limit $25 10-handed. One orbit completed and villian has a green light next to his name, which means donkey. he's $25, I have $25

One limper, villian raises to $1.50, I call with 66 and it's heads up into the flop.

Flop comes down 864 rainbow with $3.50 in the pot and villian bets $2, I miniraise him for the hell of it and he calls.

Turn is a Q, suit not important. Villian checks, I check.

River ($11.50)is a 2, villian checks, I bet $10 and he calls.

Is this a nice way of mixing up one's play with a set? My usual plan is to throw lots of chips in the middle and pray for callers.
