Fishing? Live vs Online

I play online at stars(bodog a little), cash, sng, tournements and so far I've made the best money playing the .10/.20 NL tables with a small stack trying to move up but the competition gets harder fast. Then I go to vegas and play 1/2 NL and it seems like it's as easy or easier than the .1/.2 NL games and definitely easier that online at same limit. Has anybody else had this experience? Do people find live play looser than online?
