ChoicestHops is all-In [2895] g638638 calls [2895]. This was at a $100+9. Villain was tight (8% VP$IP after 30 hands or so). Should I have just bet half the pot here and folded to a check-raise? Unfortunately I didn't give it much thought but I went with my instincts. There's about 1500 in the pot already. If he doesn't have clubs but a pair of aces I figured I had plenty of equity to the flush; plus the possibility of him folding due to fear of the clubs. If he would have the Kc in this situation, then so be it. I wasn't trying to think the worst case scenario here. The simplest option obviously would be to check and fold to a bet if I don't improve to the river, but I didn't like that at all. What's the play here? |
